Rita Parente is a pioneer of beauty therapy in Italy: registered at the Chamber of Commerce since 1971, the year in which she qualified as a beauty therapist, she established the Sempiù-Ripar aesthetics centre that same year.
The centre is at the forefront in continuing development; it now occupies an area of 500m2 and is renowned for its skill and expertise.
She set up the Sempiù School of Professional Training, which is approved by the Region of Campania, in 1980, and has trained more than 2500 beauty therapists to date, a number that is constantly on the rise.
In 1988 she founded Ripar Cosmetics, of which she is technical director.
The continuous research for quality products that meet the requirements of operators within the sector was what prompted her to develop her own line of cosmetics, which is now considered a benchmark in the cosmetics industry.
Many articles have been published under her name in industry journals, and she has addressed medical and aesthetics conferences both in Italy and abroad as an internationally-renowned expert in camouflage make-up and dermopigmentation, having been involved in cosmetic tattooing since as far back as 1986.
