To renew the brand’s image, Ripar Cosmetici chose Roberta Soru, a millennial who flew all the way from a small Sardinian village to Moscow, Milan and Rome to develop her creative vein as a curious, eclectic photographer and visual designer. With her keen sense of beauty, she uses cameras and sharpened pencils to experiment with black and white and the sensuality of the female body, while indulging in foodporn and drawing on comics.
Unconventional yet refined, Roberta avoids clichés through clean, stylized lines that convey powerful messages at a glance. And she pursued the same goal with Ripar Cosmetici: to encapsulate the brand’s essence into innovative images that ooze beauty, concepts and fascination in just a few pencil strokes; she draws feelings, and not just objects. For the brand’s make-up lines, Roberta created a modern, sophisticated woman, with black-and-white traits enhanced by splashes of lemon yellow, amber, ruby red and cherry.
