Dr. Laura Piombino

Dr. Laura Piombino, aesthetic physician and dietician, obtained her Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2004 at the Second University of Naples, and specialised in Food Science in 2008.

In 2005 she completed advanced training in dermatological laser surgery at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and in 2009 she qualified in Aesthetic Medicine at the International School of Aesthetic Medicine of Fatebenefratelli in Rome.

Author of numerous publications and congress presentations, since 2009 she has been a lecturer in Physiology at the Second University of Naples. Since 2000 she has taught at the Sempiù Professional Training School in Caserta.

Today she is scientific director of Ripar Cosmetici, where she coordinates the development of the cosmetic lines and the training programmes, to respond concretely to the needs of professionals in the sector, drawing also on the specialist beautician qualification she obtained in 1995.

The pursuit of beauty, understood as harmony of form, enhancement of individual strengths and the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle, has always led her to approach aesthetics as a whole. The awareness that healthy skin cannot be separated from proper cosmetic care drives her to look for innovative formulations for every skin type, an essential condition for creating highly professional cosmetics such as those by Ripar.
